Finishing off all their regular-season events, the Vegas Ramblers have maintained their first-place position in the American Conference. Despite some tough losses to the So-Cal Stunners and even the 10th place Dallas Tornadoes, the Ramblers have racked up enough FIVB points to break their tie with the Texas Tyrants.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout Event three, the Ramblers played with a mostly California Squad without some of their other Vegas All-Stars, such as Tanner Maxwell and Antwain Aguillard, who were a massive part of the team’s success, so far. Still, the team gained some valuable wins with Vegas middle Mark Lane and San Diego Setter Michael Keegan. As a collective unit, only Brandon Rattray and Ryan Manoogian have established their starting roles as the outside-libero duo lead the team in both kills and digs. It will be interesting to see what line-up Coaches Vinny Rodriguez and Nick England will put forward during the championship weekend.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Moving forward, the team looks set to play the Ontario Matadors, who the Ramblers quickly handled, winning 3-0 last weekend in San Bernadino. The Matadors, currently being ranked 8th in the entire conference, will need to do a lot to develop a more potent offense to go alongside their connection with setter Jesus Serrano and outside hitter Mauro Isaac.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
